The weather loach (Misgurnus anguillicaudatus)
Between 3 and 5 inches
also known as the dojo loach, is a hardy coldwater fish ,Native to East Asia, it is named for its sensitivity to changes in barometric pressure, often becoming more active before storms. The weather loach has a slender, eel-like body and can grow up to 10–12 inches (25–30 cm). It is peaceful, social, and best kept in groups and requires a well-covered tank to prevent escape.

The loach will also eat small aquatic invertebrates like water louse, pond snails they will sometimes consume plant matter.
