Algae wafers (spirulina) are sinking fish food tablets made primarily from spirulina algae, a nutrient-rich blue-green microalgae. They are designed to provide herbivorous and omnivorous aquarium fish—such as plecos, catfish, loaches, and shrimp—with a natural plant-based diet.
