Daphnia pulex
Our daphnia are bred ,raised and packaged in breathable bags by ourselfs and are not prepacked meaning they will always arrive live and fresh.
Daphnia are small native crustaceans and form the base of the food chain for many aquatic animals from fish to newts aswell as aquatic insects ,daphnia feed on algae and detritus in the water colum and can form vast swarms in the right conditions ,daphnia not only make an excellent food source but are excellent at clearing green or murky water and are an  important addition to a wildlife pond.
