Freshwater copepods ( Cyclops sp )
Our freshwater copepods are bred ,raised and packaged in breathable bags by ourselves and are not prepacked meaning they will always arrive live and fresh, may include some other micro species like daphnia but will mostly be copepods.
There small size ( often smaller than daphnia)
Make them an excellent food source for fish fry and newt larvae.
Copepods are small native crustaceans similar to daphnia and often found with hen in the same environment and form the base of the food chain for many aquatic animals from fish to newts aswell as aquatic insects ,copepods feed on algae and detritus in the water column aswell as on the bottom of the pond, copepods not only make an excellent food source but are excellent at clearing green or murky water and are an  important addition to a wildlife pond.
