Amphibious bistort, sometimes known as water knotweed or water smart weed, is a native pond plant. It is equally suited to grow in both deep and shallow water aswell as in pond margins or even on dry land. If being kept in deeper water the leaves will float on the surface like lily pads, or if being kept in the margins the stem will grow upright. The flower is pink and highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. It flowers from June to September and makes an excellent addition to a wildlife pond.

Each plant will be a single or double stem with roots ,leaves and sometimes flowers between 6 and 10 inches long. The plants are posted bare root and do not come with a pot or soil ,condition is dependent on time of year ,plants purchased in colder months may be bare stems.
